The Bully dog breeds in general

When bringing a new dog home, you should research the dog’s health, personality, diet, exercise requirements, and personality traits … especially the Bully dog breeds.  Over the years, the Bullies have developed a reputation for being aggressive. Unfortunately, this is because of their relationship with violent people who trained them to work illegal dog-fighting rings.
Any dog will attack if it is neglected, abused or has been trained to be an aggressive dog. I am specifically talking about the Pit Bull Breeds…Staffordshire Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, and the American Pit Bull Terriers. This is a dog who has had a bad rap, as the Bully breeds are typically very loyal and loving pets.

Socialization of the young Bully dog breeds.

It is should come as no surprise to learn that of the Bully breeds, the Pit Bull is possibly one of the most aggressive and most vicious. This is why they need to be trained thoroughly right from the get-go. But all Bullies should be socialized early in life, such as the Bulldog and Pit Bulls.

By taking your dog to new places at a very young age,  you will be able to bond with them more deeply. And once you have managed to fully train them and get them under control, there are many things to do…

  • Take your Bully dog with you everywhere you go
  • Dog parks are fun places to take your active dog, letting him or her run on a leash as you jog alongside
  • Quiet walks in the early mornings or evenings are fun for the older bullies or one who has been hurt
  • Develop a scrapbook, to remember creating memorable moments that will never be forgotten
  • Take a camera along, so you can snap a few photographs of your journeys
  • Be sure to keep your dog on a leash at all times to avoid trouble

Perfect Bully breed grooming

Always keep your Bully dog clean and perfectly groomed even though they have short fur. Get them used to being touched from the time they are a young puppy. Brush them every chance you get, either with a brush or your hands. Talk to them softly in a low tone as you care for them.  Grooming is a precise art and the Pit Bull, Bulldog, and other Bully breeds require lots of touch grooming.

You have various options. You can take your Bully dog to a clinic, a dog groomer, or you can do it yourself. The best would be to do it yourself, as this is your dog. Also, it is possible to show your dog love by using any of these grooming options. of course, you can even take him or her to a dog spa, giving them the time of their life!  Your dog…your choice.

Show your Bully breed off everywhere you go

It is also a good idea to profess your love everywhere you go with this particular breed. Letting everyone know about the love you have for your particular Bully dog breed is a good idea, helping to remove their bad reputation!

You need to let your friends know about your dog and you should proudly show it. Wearing certain t-shirts can help you show off your admiration. You may also want to consider investing in Pitbull and Bulldog stickers. Put these stickers on your automobile, laptop, and backpack. Then, everyone will know just how much you absolutely adore your four-legged friend!

Cuddle with your Bully dog breeds as often as possible

A lot of people do not believe that Pitbull and Bulldog breeds are the cuddliest animals in the world. This cannot be further from the truth. In reality, these breeds are more than willing to show their owners huge amounts of affection and love at all times.  On a rainy day, you should consider throwing your dog in bed with you. Cuddle with them and rub their belly. Talk to them. There is a good chance that they will roll on their back and plead for more.

Once you have begun to develop your canine-human bond, you can rest assured knowing that love and admiration will eventually go both ways. A good cuddle a day or even once or twice a week is a great idea to develop a perfect relationship! Playing ball is a fun game and one that allows you both lots of exercise with one of your favorite Bully dog breeds.

Give your Bully dog breeds what they need and want…lots of love

Like all dog breeds, you should go above and beyond to give your beautiful-hearted dog what they need. Show them how much you care for them. On the top of your dog list should be things that are vital to this strong breed:

  • Lots of attention
  • Meeting lots of people and going to new places
  •  They are an active breed, requiring a healthy diet, plenty of exercises, routine grooming, and a sufficient amount of clean water.

Always make sure that your dog gets the appropriate amount of love and care. Once you have fallen in love with this breed of dog, you will want to keep him or her around for as long as humanly possible.

The best way to do that is by catering to their precise needs. If you offer them what they need,  they will do their best to always remain by your side with loyalty for many, many years to come. Dog lovers have found that once they have owned bully dog breeds, they fast become quite addicted to the dog and its personality.
