A dollar or two, five if you’re rich, can go a long ways when a dog is in pain, starving, been ran over and shot….all in one day. That money is hopefully going to fix you up, providing your story will be believed and goes far enough, with enough money coming in that will repair your broken-down little body. God has kept this dog alive for some reason, and I for one will not question why. Most vets turn people away who have no money to care for their dog. This time someone has been kind enough to help Charley, hoping someone would help them in return.

“Charley was found as a stray and extremely emaciated. She has been shot in the abdomen, and according to our vet, it was an attempt to kill her. Poor Charley has also been hit by a car and her right femural head is shattered and she will need to have surgery to be able to walk again on her leg.

Charley’s medical expenses will run AT LEAST $1200-$1500 minimum, assuming that there are no complications or other health issues that arise.

This picture and story had been sent to us from a close friend on the east coast, along with the following letter:

I checked on this and it’s 100%. I called the number listed and spoke to “Justin Hogan” and he mentioned that the foster mom was “Sonia” who works at the animal hospital. I mentioned that it would be listed on waycooldogs and they were SO appreciative. They are e-mailing me the X-Rays to see on this poor thing as well.

As you all know, we are lucky to live on $10 to $15 thousand a year, and running a dog rescue with that as well with several angels sitting on our shoulders. But we shall gladly send $1 to Charley, hoping that our many viewers will each do the same. This little dog needs a chance at life from a few people who care. Forgo on that one bottle of pop or a cup of coffee today. Instead, send a dollar to Charlie….please.
