We know dogs have thoughts, and wonder about things. But people seldom understand what they are saying. But God knows everything, especially the things all dogs question the world over!  Here are a few dog thoughts for the big guy upstairs to answer….

Dear God:

Is it on purpose our names are the same, only reversed? …just kinda’ wondering.

And why do humans smell the flowers, but seldom, if ever, smell one another? Is there something the matter with us dogs?

And I was thinking…. when we get to heaven, can we sit on your couch? Or is it still the same old story?

This thing really bothers me. Why are there cars named after the jaguar, the cougar, the mustang, the  colt, the stingray, and the rabbit, but not ONE named for a Dog? How often  do you see a cougar riding around in the front seat of a car?  Heck…we love a nice ride more than any of those guys! Would it be so hard to rename the ‘Chrysler Eagle’ the ‘Chrysler Beagle’?

AND….if a Dog barks his head off in the forest and no human hears him, is he still a bad Dog?

Oh….this is kind of personal. If I’m not totally potty-broke, can I still come stay with you sometime? I promise I’ll get it figured out.

I was kind of wondering. How come nobody likes old dogs, but get mad at us puppies because we are not as smart as the old dogs. I just can’t figure that one out.

But more than anything…..Dogs can understand human verbal instructions, hand signals, whistles,  horns, clickers, beepers, scent ID’s, electromagnetic energy fields, and Frisbee flight paths. What I want to know is….WHAT do humans understand?

Oh, by the way. More meatballs, less spaghetti, please.

And I REALLY gotta know this one. Are there mailmen in Heaven? If there are, will I  have to apologize?
