A mother mouse and a baby mouse are walking along when suddenly a cat attacks them. The mother mouse shouts “BARK! BARK!” and the cat runs away. “See?” the mother mouse says to her baby. “Now do you see why it’s important to learn a foreign language?” —-by William E. Every dog has to have a hero, a mentor and someone to look up to. Needy, ain’t it! But as I was taking a much deserved break from life and helping browse some dog websites, I came across BO….instantly I was transformed and my eyes took on that gleam that dogs get. YOU know what I mean…
The website is “Bo Knows–he just doesn’t listen“. And I thought I had that slogan since birth! This dog is the funniest dog I have ever known and how he can write (60 words a minute HE says, anyway! I am lucky to lick cookie crumbs off the keyboard!). He is my type of man and I even signed up for his newsletter. Check it out and see if I am off course in this … but either way, I am hooked-line and sinker. I love a kind of sarcastic, dry sense of humor in any dog, but the fact that he is tall, dark and handsome helps a LOT!
Oh, Bo has a tip for you all:
If you live with a career chewer, you know how expensive it can be to dole out rawhides or other chew treats day in and day out. One cheap option is carrots. They satisfy most dogs’ yearning for a chew with a little give, and they won’t stain your carpet.
Don’t feel too virtuous, though. Because dogs lack the digestive enzymes to break down cellulose, vegetables must be pulverized to provide nutritional value. Also, carrots tend to give a dog’s coat an orangy tint.

So long. Need to check out my newest sweetie and times a’ wastin’ ! But first, I wonder what a second language is for dogs? Hmmm…cat language?
Meow…Meow…Meow. Heh heh. Here kitty, kitty! Come to Holly. “I” won’t hurt you! Heh heh.
