Holly’s Neighborhood Corner-March 21st

"There is only one smartest dog in the world, and my owner has her!" -Miss Holly Higgin
On a not-so day-by-day basis, spring is just around the corner. How can I tell? I have a happy tail, and it is now wagging more than usual. But most of all, I have this unresistable urge to RUN and chase cats. Lots and lots of cats. Unfortunately, I have only one wild cat to focus on–IF I could only escape out of the yard!
Another way I can tell is the grooming clippers have been brought out and are being checked over. We have a few dogs to keep groomed here-not me, of course, as I am a dachshund. But for sure the cockers and cockapoos who ALWAYS need trimmed. They are as old as dirt, as they have always been here since before my time, so I think maybe a hair-cut wouldn’t make much of a difference on them. By the way, how old is dirt anyway?
Excuse me, I think I just saw that cat. And maybe someone accidentally left the gate open. Bye!!
