Latest 2010 Vehicle Goes to the Dogs
Posted By Nancy Houser on October 15, 2009
Not every upcoming vehicle focuses on the comforts of our family dog. But the new American Honda’s new 2010 Element has done just that, with a cushioned pet bed, a fan designed only for the pet-cargo space, an extendable ramp for the dog to enter and exit the cargo area, and a spill-resistant water bowl.

The LA Times ad for the car advertises the soft, seat belt nylon webbing allows the pet security in the vehicle cargo area. This pet-designed area helps the dog’s safety in preventing driver interference while adding an extra layer of protection in case of a frontal collision.
Available for purchase on November 17, 2009, at an optional price of $995, the Dog Friendly Element can be read about in The Time’s auto blog, Up To Speed.
