Way Cool Dogs has recently started a hub of volunteers to assist Nebraska individuals who are in need of pet assistance — food, medical care, transportation, etc. Right new we are gathering new donor names throughout the state as more jobs are lost and the recession enters our state more heavily. We are seeking volunteer services of each member in their home town and surrounding communities, acting as a contact for other NPMW hub members and for assistance.

Each volunteer is responsible for donating food, blankets, toys, chewies, transportation, etc if possible. If assistance is needed by another volunteer for help, contacting other NPMW members can be done through Nancy. This way no money exchanges hands, and each volunteer can deduct their donations for tax purposes and little gas is spent for traveling.

Presently we have volunteers in the areas of but will take more and in other areas: Alma, Arapaho, Auburn, Axtell, Beatrice, Bertrand, Burchard, Chappel, Cozad, Elwood,  Eustis, Gothenburg, Grand Island, Hastings, Holdrege, Lexington, Lincoln, Lodgepole, Loomis, Loup City, Minden, Pawnee  City, Ravenna, Sidney, Tecumseh, and Wilcox. Volunteers are needed in other areas.
