Obama and the Nobel Peace Prize

Posted on October 11, 2009 by Nancy Houser

Every now and then a person needs to leave the dogs and head out for the nasty business of greed and political bull. Here is my hub at hubpages.com which speaks of President Obama and why he won the Nobel Peace Prize….as an answer to those who say, “But…but…why?”

All I have to say is this. He won it because he can…and he did. And I am proud of him for doing so.

Don’t know why every one is so upset about this; what’s so bad about the Europeans loving our president? It’s like a vote for him! He won the prize because of giving the world hope, choosing communication before military action and for being an inspiration to all of us.

Not all success can be measured in numbers. He’s also smart enough to now that this is a “call to action.”
