The Kiss of a Grateful Dog
Posted on August 29, 2009 by: WayCoolDogs
This picture of the red Doberman and fireman Jeff Clark in Charlotte have more than made the rounds of the internet since it happened in July of 1999, taken by Charlotte Observer Patrick Schneider. Jeff was one of the fireman at the scene when the pregnant dog decided he needed a grateful kiss for doing his job.

He just happened to be resting at the scene where the house had been on fire when he got his kiss of gratitude from the beautiful animal. Not because he had carried her out, but because he had went through the house to make sure it was empty while on fire. It was at that moment that Cinnamon had ran out by herself. The caring fireman had just saved her from a fire in her house by making sure the house was empty is all. He then returned to the scene outside and continued to fight the fire.
Charlotte had five puppies after this famous picture was taken, with Jeff Clark still working at the Charlotte Fire Department. Cinnamon herself has passed away on January of 2005.
